This DHS-certified course is intended for professionals from law enforcement, public safety, emergency management, fire department, emergency medical teams, public utility districts, hospital management, and municipal and state administration policymakers. Participants come from agencies from across the United States and are usually division or functional area commanders or specialized agency planning and response officials.
The purpose of this seminar is to instruct and train participants in the proactive intelligence approach: risk analysis, identifying potential threats, actively choosing the best solutions to deal with threats, spotting, recruiting and running HUMINT sources, in order to prevent attacks before they happen.
